The Servant Girl Treated the Alpha King’s Deadly Beast Like a Gentle Puppy — But When the Monster Bowed Before Her, the King Discovered She Was Hiding a Power That Could Change His Entire Kingdom
Chapter 9
Months later, before the gathered packs of the North, Leon cleared Lilian’s name.
Cora’s betrayal was recorded in the royal archives exactly as it had happened. The Fowler family lost every title they had gained through deception. Justice, though delayed, finally arrived.
Then Leon faced his people.
“My kingdom was built with iron,” he said. He looked toward Lilian. “It will remain standing because of kindness.”
The entire courtyard fell silent.
He turned to her. “Lilian Fowler. You healed my wolf. You healed your king. But more importantly, you reminded an entire kingdom that compassion is never weakness.”
He lowered himself onto one knee. Not because tradition demanded it. Because his heart did.
“Will you stand beside me — not behind my throne, but beside it?”
Lilian looked at the man. Then at the giant wolf wagging his tail hopefully between them. She laughed through happy tears. “I suppose someone has to make sure both of you remember to rest.”
Varg barked once. The crowd erupted into cheers.
Above them, the northern sky turned from emerald to gold. And somewhere, carried on the mountain wind, it felt as though the kingdom itself breathed easier for the first time in three hundred years.
In the end, no chain had ever truly held the fiercest beast in the North. No crown had ever saved its greatest Alpha. And the woman everyone believed was too gentle to survive had become the reason an entire kingdom finally learned that the strongest hearts are the ones brave enough to choose kindness over fear.
The End.
